About Me
Hi! I am Nicole Grecco, but my students refer to me as Ms. Nicole. I am currently and Middle School Independent Studies Teacher at Options For Youth, San Bernardino. History has always been a fascinating topic for me and my desire to help others led me into the teaching profession, so here I am! Even though I work with all subjects on a day to day basis, history was the one that made me want to go into the classroom and has been my passion. My mom is a teacher, and so I have been in and around the profession my entire life. This has allowed me to see different perspectives and teaching strategies over many years that I now implement into my own philosophy. I look forward to learning from fellow educators as well as my own students whenever I walk onto campus, which keeps me excited to come into work.

Education
My educational journey started and stayed at California State University, Fullerton. I started out as an undergrad studying history. Since I had a passion for history, I went back the following year to obtain my masters degree in public history. After I graduated with my masters, I worked at a children's museum which re-awakened my love of teaching. Later that year, I applied for the Single Subject Credential program where I graduated in 2023!
